油画《惊醒》，尺寸：80x60厘米。

在中国大陆的北方农村，农忙时农民们面朝黄土背朝天的辛勤耕作，汗流浃背；农闲时背井离乡进城打工，起早贪黑，饱受酷暑与饥寒。然而，半生的辛劳换来的为何依旧是贫困的生活？《九评》！看《九评共产党》就能从苦难中惊醒明白。我长期生活在华北农村，油画作品《惊醒》以中国农村现实生活为背景表现了我的一位乡亲在冬季的午后阅读《九评》的情景。
